Rules for the Use of Recommendation Technologies — EuroHouse
- EuroHouse (the “Website Owner”) is the owner and operator of the website https://euro.house (the “Website”). The Website may use information technologies to provide content and product recommendations based on the collection, organization, and analysis of data related to the interests and preferences of Website users and visitors (the “User”), including through analytics and recommendation tools integrated into the Website platform.
- These Rules for the Use of Recommendation Technologies (the “Rules”) describe how we collect, organize, and analyze information related to Users’ interactions with the Website, how we use such information to provide personalized and non-personalized recommendations, and what categories of data may be used for these purposes.
- The Website Owner does not use recommendation technologies in a manner that violates applicable U.S. laws or infringes upon the rights and legitimate interests of individuals or organizations. We follow reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information used in connection with recommendation technologies, consistent with our privacy and security practices.
- “Recommendation technologies” are tools and methods that help display content, products, or services that may be relevant to a User based on information such as browsing behavior, interactions with the Website, and aggregated trends (e.g., popular products or commonly viewed collections).
- We prioritize security when processing information used for recommendations. Where feasible, we use measures such as encryption, access controls, and data minimization. Sensitive identifiers (such as phone numbers) may be stored in a protected format and are not used in a plain (readable) form for recommendation purposes.
- The Website Owner may provide Users with both personalized and non-personalized product recommendations:
- Personalized recommendations may be based on a User’s interactions with the Website (for example, pages viewed, items added to cart, prior inquiries, or saved preferences).
- Non-personalized recommendations may be based on product data and aggregated insights from groups of Users (for example, bestsellers, trending items, or items frequently viewed together).
- The Website Owner does not intentionally collect data about a User’s browsing activity on unrelated third-party websites for the sole purpose of generating recommendations on the Website. However, third-party services embedded on the Website (such as analytics, advertising, or embedded content providers) may collect information in accordance with their own policies and the User’s browser/device settings.
